This is an excellent question! So many of us are suffering from depression, and it really does come from the destruction of our "community".

We lack people to check on us, uplift us, encourage us and cheer us on.

We don't have the security of knowing that if we try and fail, someone will be there to lift us back up, or tell us its ok.

We are missing the elders that we can go to for advice in our relationships, marriages and for childrearing.

We are addicted to urban life and lifestyles while our souls long for the rural land, gardens, farms and spaces that would nourish us.

We push and push trying to survive,so much so that we no longer live and thrive.
