"GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP" Morning Event - 9 am to 4 pm

Do you dream of starting and running your very own nonprofit?

Did you know that each year, nonprofit organizations receive billions of dollars from grant-making entities?

The Grant Writing Workshop will answer these questions and more. This workshop is for nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, religious organizations, and municipalities seeking grants from foundation, corporate, government, and individual donors. The workshop provides the knowledge and step by step practical strategies grant writers need to be successful.

Participants will learn how to write winning proposals which include…

* Learning the basic principles and preparations to begin the grant
application process
* Learning the essential components of a grant proposal package
* Learning how to assemble a work plan for proposal development
* Learning how to apply to government, private, and corporate grant
* Learning what happens after the grant is submitted, and more.

SPECIAL SESSION: “How To Start A Non-Profit Organization.”
This special session will be held Friday morning at 9 a.m. Learn how to incorporate, select a board of directors, write bylaws, craft a mission statement, obtain tax-exempt status, develop a budget, create a marketing plan, explore fund raising options, and more.

GRANT WRITING LAB: A practical writing lab where you can begin to write your organization’s goals and objectives and/or actual grant proposal with one on one guidance from the workshop instructor. Grant writing labs will be scheduled for 2 hours each day.

COST $250.00 per person.

Registration includes materials and 6 months of Grant Writing Guidance & Technical Assistance from workshop instructor.
