Today I went to help people without AC or fans in their homes. I took 2 elderly sisters to the art museum and we walked around the mall. You would of thought the ladies won the lottery (I cannot lie, I thought I did too). They had so much fun and so did I. I am really glad I was able to help these two ladies today.

Most importantly, I found an AC that someone was giving away that I went back and gave to the women. What a wonderful end to my day ;)

I was very glad to see this group here on BBWO. I am looking forward to hearing what you all are doing to support your communities.

I founded a nonprofit this year that is called WAHMs WIN. Our goal is to help bridge the digital divide by giving expert training and mentoring to women entrepreneurs who are not yet plugged in online and who don't have access to proper resources to help them build successful businesses.

If you'd like to know how helping us could help you and your business, watch our videos at http://Video.HelpWAHMsWIN.com

Heading out to help the Salvation Army sort goods that have been received from the community. There are a lot of people who still have nothing since the recent tornados hit the area and it is great to see the efforts of many who want to help!

With the recent tornado that swept through the Raleigh area last Saturday, there have been A LOT of people in need. Since I know I could not financially help the people in my community I provided my time. Met some great people at Shaw University today!

Hello Ladies

Today I help support the Coalition Perserve Humanity Diginity bi-weekly feeding the homeless on skid row in Los Angeles. Giving back to the community is such a rewarding peace that no one can give you but yourself...

I raise money or give a hefty donation to my local food bank every year. I also offer free graphic design services to non profits and churches. I haven't had anyone take my up on the offer this year so if you need help . . . . contact me!

Here's a great article for fundraising I found on my Mashable.com feed!
