Arzanda, I really like the way you think. I can afford to spend more money on clothing and the like, but why?
I watched a documentary once based on the life of Melvin Van Peeples. He mentioned he owed just a few pair of jeans, a few shirts, etc. He said, which I took to heart, it's more meaningful to spend your money on creating memories for yourself and your loved ones opposed to spending money on clothing and other tangible goods.

For example, I'm sure we have happy memories of perhaps family reunions, vacations or any other pleasant event. But, do you really remember what you or anyone else there WORE? Of course, some may remember if that's what your focus is upon. But ask your children or other loved ones what they had on or anyone else present. The clothing wasn't what was or is important, the wonderful memories created should be the goal.
