About Me:: I am Motivated by the desire to touch, inspire and heal souls of those whose eyes come in contact with my words. Having overcome many obstacles in my life, I started writing as a way of healing. Through sharing some of my work with a few close to me, I found that my words also inspired and motived them. Although we all had different exteriors, the pain, love, joy and fears we shared internally were similar in so many ways. It was a realization to us all that we were not alone in our battles and that keeping silent put a smile on our face but left the burden on our souls. This was the inspiration for my first book of poetry titled "Stepping Out of the Shadows" which will be available for purchase on 2/1/09 at www.mirrors-of-expression.com and on 2/2/09 on Amazon.com.

I lost my job in Human Resources/Marketing with a major retail company due to the economy and decided not to obtain another "job" but to work full-time on building my business and pursuing my dream. I am an author and have done several freelance jobs and been a contributing writer to local newspapers as well as had my poetry published in "ESSENCE" mgazine. I am currently in the process of assisting other writers/authors/poets in self-publishing their books through my company, Mirrors of Expression. From A Writers POV is an online magazine for writers. We are mostly non-profit with small advertising fees. We are not looking to charge you or your business to advertise with our magazine, we simply want to "Swap" info and banners to help each other out.

I am putting together a spot throughout our magazine for sponsors. These spots will be permanent advertisement banners or badges letting our readers know that your business sponsers us.
