Walk MS Atlanta - April 9th

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 3:46pm 0 Comments

One of the first things I did after diagnosis was sign up for the MS Walk. I didn't know what MS was going to bring into my life, but I felt like if I could be active in raising money to find a cure that's just what I was going to do. And I've walk every year since and formed a team in 2010.

So 3 years after diagnosis, I continue to walk and I continue to ask for support...

The MS Walk is 18 days away on April 9th. Visit… Continue

Good afternoon ladies,

I am writing this blog as a mother, a professional, and a person with MS. MS is the #1 disabling disease

among young adults in the United. Although the vast majority of people with MS are Caucasians, I growing number are African American women. It sometimes feels like a lonely place to be, but I can do anything...I'm a mom.

In late 2007, I became very ill. I had double vision, numbness on the left side of my face, nausea, extreme fatigue, and lose… Continue

The Facts:

  • Since 1991, the number of children with parents in prison has increased by more than 50 percent. Most of these children have an incarcerated father, but a growing…

Hi there, I just wanted to introduce myself and my new business. I am trying to network with as many people as possible to see if there are ways that we can support each other. I offer unique and affordable works of African art that make impactful gifts for all occasions. If you have a special occasion coming up, or if you just want to connect with Africa yourself, please bookmark our site.

Do you know anyone who has a birthday or special event coming up, Kiara? I like your website. I can really relate given the struggles I went through living in South Africa during the apartheid years.

Thank you for your consideration.
