Through her company, she publishes books with a purpose, going beyond the realm of simple entertainment by adding knowledge and biblical principles to the mix without overt moral lessons. Her imprints have published over 25 books in less than three years.

A board member for Women Entrepreneurs of Oregon, Rochelle is also The Authorpreneur’s Business Consultant, providing publishing consulting services for various authors, and managing the acquisition and production process for all of her imprints. She resides in Portland with her husband and two children.

Rochelle Carter started the Savvy Authorpreneur blog to provide authors and aspiring authors with publishing and marketing tips, as well as up to date news about the publishing industry in general.

Ellechor Media is a completely virtual company comprised of three Christian publishing imprints and two Christian Online Communities. Its imprints include:

• Ellechor Publishing House, LLC - is a traditional, royalty paying imprint. Visit our website to view current releases, authors, and submission guidelines. Their online company bookstore features exclusive opportunities for advanced purchases of new releases.

• EverFaith Press – this is a self-publishing imprint for Christian authors. The team also offers stand-alone marketing services for authors of all genres. You can find more information on their self-publishing and marketing packages that we offer on the website.

• E2 Books & Co. is Ellechor’s newest imprint, focusing on electronic book production. Ellechor eBooks & Co. is a royalty paying, eBook only publishing imprint with the company shoulders all publication costs and providing only limited virtual marketing support. E2 also cooperatively markets its eBooks with other Ellechor Media titles. Optional marketing support can be purchased through EverFaith Press at our author discount rate.

For a christian author community, you can visit:

1. Christian Books Today- This site gives readers and authors access to a variety of Christian reviews, has a link for book purchasing and provides various other promotions. Self-published authors can also list their books in the community bookstore for $30 a year. Listings include monthly marketing to all Ellechor Social Media sites and authors are given 100% net royalties of sales.

2. Adventist Writers, Authors & Editors- this site is a community developed specifically for Christian Adventists involved in the book publishing industry. It provides a forum for Adventist writers, editors and other service providers to connect and share with one another.
