Oh My God....

Posted on March 9, 2009 at 3:21pm 0 Comments

It's early in the morning. You have an appointment with the company president. This is the deal you've been waiting on. You're looking sharp in your new business attire. You're about to leave, go to your vehicle, put the key in the ignition, and OMG!!!!!

Your vehicle won't start. What the heck??? This is the last thing you need on a day like today. You start to ask yourself questions. Self, why didn't my car start? Did I leave something on? At this point, it doesn't matter. Your… Continue

Starters-How These Hard Working Components Fail

Posted on March 2, 2009 at 9:05pm 0 Comments

Starters failures aren't very common these days, thanks to fuel injection. Engines start right up in cold weather, and don't require a lot of cranking of the engine. This has cutdown on the seasonal rise of starter replacement. The Primary failure of starters are overloading and overheating. If an engine won't start for whatever reason (no fuel, bad gas, no spark or compression), on a continous basis, the starter can overheat and fail. If your vehicle doesn't start in thirty-seconds, stop and… Continue

Alternators-How There Hard-Working Components Fail

Posted on February 16, 2009 at 4:42pm 1 Comment

Do you know what an alternator does for your vehicle? Do you know where the alternator is located on your vehicle? I would like to cover one of the five overlooked parts of the car. Most people don't know there is an alternator on their car. When they hear the name for the first time, it's when their vehicle won't start. This is known as the charging system. The charging system consist of the alternator, battery, wiring, and drive belt. Your alternator can come with an internal or external… Continue

Synthetic OIls

Posted on February 11, 2009 at 1:06pm 0 Comments

As a part of the oil change series, I want to include synthetic oils. I am asked for my opinion, all the time. Do I recommend using synthetic over traditional oils? There is nothing wrong with traditional oils. In my last note, I explained how traditional oils work. When using synthetic oils, there are advantages and disadvantages. Before using any type of oil or chemcial in your vehicle, check your owner's manual for guidance.

Synthetic oil came into the picture during WWII. It was… Continue

How Does My Motor Oil Help Keep the Engine Running Clean?

Posted on February 6, 2009 at 10:18pm 0 Comments

In my travels, people ask about different motor oils, and adding additives. Everyone has their preference on name-brand oils. I don’t get into the brand-name battle. As for additives, there isn’t a need to add an additive to your motor oil. As we all know, regular oil changes are one of the most important things that can be done to extend the life of an engine. Premium-quality motor oil will maintain its effectiveness over the life of the oil drain, allowing it to help keep the engine clean. In… Continue

Please check out this month issue of The Adventist Times

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Do use the month of September to find a way to support the Breast Cancer Movement, even if it's just to increase your knowledge.

View the Breast Cancer articles and video segments. Encourage your loved ones to schedule their mammogram's for October, and remember to do Self -Examinations. Early detection is key!

Breast Cancer is not just a woman's disease, men should examine their breasts as well.

I've received TONS of requests to re-play the interview with David and Tamela Mann. She's so pretty!
Well here it is...ENJOY!
