Turning networking into leads.. into business exchanges.

How can we use social media networking sites/groups to turn relationships into lead exchanges? We spend time & energy networking, but we ultimately have a goal to improve our business. Thoughts?

About Me:
After 20+ years of HR experience- I made a decision to follow my heart and in the midst of a recession, put my energy into my passion- designing and creating handmade and online greeting cards.

In addition to making handmade all occasion cards, I am a distributor for SendOutCards an online greeting card and gifting system. It's a great system for business owners who want to connect and /or show appreciation to their current customers or use it for direct mail campaigns to solicit new business.

The system is accessed from your computer, has thousands of cards to choose from for all occasions and gives you the option to create your own card, add logos, pictures into either a postcard, greeting card or tri-fold card/brochure. You can send one or multiple cards, set up mailings in advance using the contact database and calendaring system. Once complete, SendOutCards prints, stuffs, stamps and mails.

As an added bonus, my customer's have online access to cards I design and upload or I work directly with them to design a line of cards that fit their business needs.
