The Southern Entertainment Awards, originally out of Nashville, at Harrahs casino in Tunica, Ms. I am nominated this yr. I need everyone support on this voting process. It take jus a minute to go to the site(link below) Click BALLOT tab..VOTE will appear..Click it...look for the catagory: INDUSTRY POWER PLAYER(FEMALE)..YOU DO NOT HAVE TO VOTE IN EVERY CATAGORY...they will send you a comformation email that you MUST click to make your vote count..I have worked soo hard over the years, especially being a woman in the music industry, dealing with men who have tested my Womanhood and Rank..and have LOST... I'm humble for this recognition by my peers, and would love to be the FIRST BLACK WOMAN to bring this award home..Please comment on my page after you have voted for me..so I can see who my voters were(email all your friends to do the same)..I wanna to thank all of you who have already voted for me....and I know I cant win without YOU!!Please add me...

Hi there, I just wanted to introduce myself and my new business. I am trying to network with as many people as possible to see if there are ways that we can support each other. I offer unique and affordable works of African art that make impactful gifts for all occasions. If you have a special occasion coming up, or if you just want to connect with Africa yourself, please bookmark our site.

Do you know anyone who has a birthday or special event coming up, Yavenay?

Thank you for your consideration.

Yavenay - Thanks for all the info! How did you get started with those businesses?

You're obviously a very web-savvy person; I'd love for you to join my Sistas Online Group...I want there to be a place where women can go and ask questions and share tips about managing and operating their businesses online. You'd be a valuable addition!

By any chance have you heard about Microsoft’s Office Live Small Business? I love it because it's sort of what you'd call a "one-stop shop" - you can have your website, domain name, e-mail, store, documents & contacts all in one place (without having to log onto a hundred different sites)!

I think one of the best parts for me about OLSB is the Email Marketing beta; it helps you stay in contact with your clients, and the cool thing is you can send email blasts and use HTML to make them more fun to read :) I also like being able to keep track of who's opening the e-mails, so I know what's working and what's not!

You can check out the other tools at http://www.smallbusiness.officelive.com/

Oh, and even if you already have a website, you can switch over to OLSB and keep the same domain!

Let me know what you think! Talk to you soon!

Best wishes,
Michelle

Hi Yavenay - nice to E-meet you :)

I figured I came to BBWO to meet other business-savvy women, so I better start networking!

What field are you in? Do you own your own business?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Respectfully,
Michelle
